Cityscapes
Three Poets. Three Poems. Three Cities of the Imagination
This week I’ll look at poems by the two poets featured at the November Café Muse Online. I’ll follow that up with poem from the “City of Glass” section of Screens.
Cityscapes
Megan Pinto journeys us through the stations of love’s indifferent gaze.
It takes so much to feel safe in this world.
Emily Hyland
The annunciation story applied to the breakup of a marriage with the angel played by a mouse.
We contemplate options in a dim lit room.
City of Glass
From dawn to dark in the cityscape of my adulthood.
Night is harder to see.
