Last week I had the pleasure of working with Forest Woods Media to publish poet Judith R. Robinson’s The Painted Poem. It’s an extraordinary book of paintings (mostly by the author) set out side-by-side with Robinson’s poems. The reader is treated to a lively journey, both visual and poetic. It’s a handsome art book rendered on the highest quality paper.
To tease you with a single poem from the book, I did a video reading of her poem, Pity Her with it’s painting. My hope was to to capture the experience of actually viewing a page from the book and letting both works drift into the mind. Give it a view:
More gorgeous images and poems by Judith Robinson are waiting for you in The Painted Poem.

Beautifully interpreted, Henry. The poem, the painting, and the music take me to another, lush and glowing place… the way only Art can.
THE PAINTED POEM is a Masterwork, and we are so proud to present Judith Robinson's gifts to the world. Henry;s reading matched the tenderness found there. An added pleasure.
